How is UPEI preparing for emergencies?
UPEI has developed an Emergency Management Plan that is regularly updated. It includes plans and procedures to protect people, facilities, and animals.
Who is in charge of emergency management?
The Emergency Management Co-ordinator is the V.P. of Finance & Facilities. There are three emergency operational groups: the Senior Management Group, the Emergency Operations Team, and the Emergency On-Site Team.
Who is in charge of emergency communications?
The Integrated Communications office, directed by the Emergency Management Co-ordinator, is responsible for all emergency communications. As part of its Emergency Management Plan, the University has identified a Media Relations and Communications Team.
